New Game On The Horizon

The other day I downloaded the demo for BulletStorm on Xbox360. Now, I haven't followed this game at all, I knew nothing about it. The only thing I knew was that it was produced by Epic Games (the guys behind Gears of War and Unreal Tournament). The demo is very short but it is very fun and I felt the need to play it again and again. It was really cool and I enjoyed the game play.

The demo for BulletStorm was only one map and you can beat it in almost 3 minutes if you rush through the level. My average time was about 5 to 7 minutes. But the best part was the different ways you can kill the enemies. You can kick them up in the air and shoot them while they are slowed down. You can blow them up or pull the environment on top of enemies. The list goes on....the point of this is to kill with skill as they call it and collect points for the best kills. It was different and interesting and I fell in love with the game. The demo got me to want to buy it when it releases Feb 22, 2011.

It has been a very very long time since a demo has convinced me to buy a game. 9 times out of 10 I pretty much know what games I am going to buy before they are out, and I only check out demos to make sure I really want to get the game I am looking forward to. Well the BulletStorm demo got me hooked and I can't wait to pick up this game at the end of the month. If you haven't checked out the demo, you really should. Download the demo on the PlayStation network or Xbox Live. Who knows you may be convinced like I was.....
