Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series, known in Japan as Naruto: Narutimate Hero series, is a series of fighting games based on popular manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto, for the PlayStation 2.
They were developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Namco Bandai. This series includes three games based on the first part of the story of Naruto, which is then followed by two titles based on the Naruto Shippūden, as well as spin-offs and sequels for the PlayStation Portable, and follow-up title for the PlayStation 3 title Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm.
Latest installment, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, will mark the first game in the series came out of the Sony PlayStation console (Xbox 360) in addition to being released on the PlayStation 3.
